Career Counsellor
Session type: Individual sessions
The Career Counsellor helps program participants discover their skills, abilities, interests, and strengths. They listen to each woman’s preferences, work to enhance their self-awareness and self-confidence, provide valuable information on educational and professional opportunities, and support them in choosing studies or a career path.
The Career Counsellor also helps build networks and connections with relevant organizations to facilitate participants’ entry or re-entry into the labor market.
Services provided include:
Career guidance and counselling
Support in identifying and showcasing skills
Training in resume and cover letter writing, and preparation for job interviews
Information on job search techniques and how to present a professional profile
Assistance with technical matters, such as guidance on obtaining a tax ID (AFM), social security number (AMKA), or registering with DYPA (former OAED)
Information about labor rights, educational programs, and vocational training opportunities
