1. What is WITH YOU MAMA?

WITH YOU MAMA is a non-profit civil company registered in the National Registry of Private Sector Non-Profit Organizations (Registration No. 1834) and in the Special Registry of Volunteer Non-Governmental Organizations (Registration No. 1701)

WITH YOU MAMA was founded in June 2023.

The purpose of WITH YOU MAMA is to provide a comprehensive Early Support and Care program to pregnant women and mothers — from pregnancy through to one year after childbirth.

By offering free care and support services, WITH YOU MAMA aims to promote prevention, early identification, and effective intervention to address the specific needs that women may experience during this critical period.

  • Pregnant women, regardless of the stage of pregnancy
  • Mothers up to the end of the first year after childbirth
  • Pregnant women and mothers who have reached the age of 18 years old (In the case of a minor, representation by a parent or other legal guardian is required).

Priority is given to pregnant women and mothers who:

  • Have no income or are living at or near the minimum wage threshold, as defined by the relevant authorities
  • Are first-time mothers or in the postpartum period
  • Lack family support or belong to single-parent families
  • Face difficulties entering or re-entering the labor market
WITH YOU MAMA provides personalized, free services of care, social support, and prevention to pregnant women, mothers, and their families — from pregnancy throughout the first year after childbirth. These services include, but are not limited to:
  • Midwifery support
  • Counselling on issues arising within or outside the family environment
  • Referral and connection to relevant public social services and agencies, for those who need and wish to access them
  • Career counselling
  • Mother’s helper at home

Step 1: Submit your application (completion is required)
Please complete the application form available on our website. Alternatively, you can download it, fill it out, and send it by email to info@mazisoumama.com or by post to Grivogiorgou 6, 11528 Athens. You may also request an application from healthcare professionals or social workers at any hospital, maternity clinic, or organization.

Step 2: Telephone contact
Our team will contact you to arrange a meeting with the WITH YOU MAMA team. Waiting time will not exceed 4 weeks from the date of application submission.

Step 3: Initial meeting
You will meet with WITH YOU MAMA professionals, who will assess your eligibility for the program and discuss your needs and the possible support services we can offer.

Step 4: Personalized support planning
Together with the team, you will create an individualized support plan tailored to your needs and wishes.

While WITH YOU MAMA is still in its initial operational phase:

  • Priority is given to pregnant women and mothers who have no income or are living at or near the minimum wage threshold, as defined by the relevant authorities and meet at least one of the following conditions:
  • Are first-time mothers or postpartum women
  • Lack family support or belong to single-parent families
  • Face difficulties entering or re-entering the labor market
  • The number of beneficiaries will necessarily be limited to ensure a) the delivery of high-quality services, and b) the identification and documentation of real needs emerging through the program.
  • Applications will be processed in strict chronological order.

Yes. Any pregnant woman or mother can withdraw freely, at any time, and without penalty from WITH YOU MAMA’s programs.

WITH YOU MAMA operates Monday to Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

WITH YOU MAMA’s initial funding comes from its founders.

While WITH YOU MAMA is in its initial operational phase, we accept donations in the form of products and goods, such as:

  • Maternity clothing
  • Personal hygiene items
  • Baby diapers and supplies
  • Toys, children’s shoes, children’s furniture
  • Baby strollers, cribs
  • Early childhood development items
  • Household equipment
  • Books
